Some quick tips to add a wow-factor to your event/roleplay!

Roleplay Advice

- Start with an emotional intro (If it's about ice cream, say your grandpa owned an ice cream shop & you grew up eating ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

- Start with a SWOT analysis to contextualize the situation

- Use "buzz words" (data mining, SWOT analysis, etc)

- End with a call-to-action: "I'd love to meet with you next week, does Thursday or Friday sound better?"

- Come up with unique ideas that are relevant and applicable to many roleplays - for my marketing events, I would usually talk about "bathroom stall marketing"

- Study your event PIs, memorize unique/relevant definitions and ideas for each PI, and now you're prepared for any possible roleplay

Honestly, the BIGGEST tip I have for roleplays is this: contact previous year's winners!  It's kind of weird, but go back to DECA's ICDC award lists, and find past winners online.  They've been through the process and can help you super easily!

P. S: I'm working on getting a series of roleplay docs ready - so don't worry, I'll definitely have new advice!
